Unless of course another Mac user already knows the answer?Ī temporary workaround would be to copy content from the Humax to a USB memory stick or a USB hard drive which will decrypt the content. Once you know the mechanism it is then a case of finding a suitable client. I am busy for the rest of the day but will try and research exactly what is going on and post an answer when I have. With Windows 8 and upwards a mechanism is used that allows the content to be decrypted whilst downloading. If so I wouldn't expect content to be decrypted. Sorry I am not familiar with Finder will that be using SAMBA for the connection. My computer is a Mac (currently running High Sierra if that is in any way relevant). I have tried searching but nothing I have found has referred to Macs (only to PCs) or else not to the 5000T. If the answer to this has been posted elsewhere then please send a link. I need to be able to watch some of this stuff away from home so the network is not really much use to me. However I can't download them using that. I can access the existing (undownloaded) recordings on the Humax via VLC using Universal Plug'n'Play to view the local network. And in the playlist it says it has 00:00 duration. I have tried opening the downloaded file in VLC and it will open but it will not play. My Finder window tells me that the recording has downloaded and takes up 2.17GB. TS file, not all the other files that came with it). And re-enable the access (uncheck and check the checkbox twice, to make sure). I have set up the Humax so I can see it in my Finder window and I can see all the files that are on there. OS X 10.8 or later 2GB of memory 14.3GB of available storage to perform upgrade Some features require an Apple ID terms apply. 1.-Go to System Preferences -> Sharing -> Windows File Sharing. I can categorically state that they are all SD. What I want to be able to do is to download recordings from my Humax, save them to my computer and watch them away from home.
